The Dharma of Sound – A Contemplative Arts Intensive and Meditation Retreat

With Steve Gorn and Dave Cipriani

September 22 - 25, 2022

Join a deep dive into the nature of sound. Indian Classical Music, the practice of Raga ‘to color the mind ‘ will be the portal for our exploration. Call and response singing, deep listening and dialogue, all will be offered within the container of meditation practice.

No prior musical experience is necessary. We will open our ears to the yoga of soundand awareness. Private sessions for more advanced musicians will be available.

The weekend will end with a public concert.

Dave Cipriani
Award-Winning Guitarist Dave Cipriani has been on a constant quest to connect with deep spiritual/music roots while still being in the modern world, a desire that springs from 30 years of studying Buddhist meditation, and trying to understand how it relates to creativity.
