Calm & Aware: Introduction to Meditation for Teens 13-17

Sunday 4/28 4:00-6:00 pm with Dana Fulmer

Learn a 2000-year-old technique for calming your mind. Meditation can help us learn to ride our emotions, anxiety, and stress rather than feeling overwhelmed by these natural moods of the mind. Through a simple breathing technique, learn to tap into the basic sanity and goodness of your own mind, and to loosen the hold that chaotic emotions, anxiety and distracted thoughts have on your day to day awareness.

Program to include:
Meditation instruction, group discussion, and practice.
