April 4, 2019

Join us in celebration of the life of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

As a special celebration of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s life, everyone is invited to participate in the Sadhana of Mahamudra Feast practice.  This is the only time that those who are not Vajrayana practitioners are permitted to participate in this Feast practice. The Feast Offering, or ganachakra, uses the simple act of eating and drinking within the sadhana mandala to facilitate the transmutation of passion, aggression, and ignorance energies into the bliss and emptiness experience of tantric practice.

In keeping with tradition, you may bring a favorite photo of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche to place on the shrine for the practice.

About the Sadhana of Mahamudra:

Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche wrote the Sadhana of Mahamudra in 1968 while staying in the cave of Taksang in Bhutan. The Sadhana of Mahamudra invokes the wrathful manifestation of Padmasambhava, called Dorje Trolö, to help us overcome obstacles and confusion in our time.
