CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER –

Sadhana of Mahamudra Potluck Feast Practice,  6:30 PM (6:00 PM Set-Up).

Twenty nine years ago, April 4, 1987, the Vidyadhara, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the beloved founder of Shambhala, left his human form. Each year on the anniversary of his parinirvana (death of an enlightened being) we gather to honor his precious life, vast teachings, outrageous wisdom and infinite compassion.

The whole community is invited to practice the profound Sadhana of Mahamudra Feast, a practice usually reserved for advanced students. The Sadhana of Mahamudra was received as terma by Chogyam Trungpa in 1968 and was a pivotal moment in his presentation of Buddhism in the West. There will be a celebratory period during the feast section where devotional poems, songs, dances and other remembrances of the Buddha activity of the founder of Shambhala can be offered.

Please join us for this special event and add your enriching presence to what may well be a formative experience for many newer practitioners. The message and insight from this special evening of practice continues to be appropriate and powerful. Also listening to practitioners, old and new, express their fresh and heartfelt connection to the Vidyadhara is a great delight.

Open to all.  Please bring a dish or drink to share.

Practice begins at 6:30 pm; Set-up at 6:00 pm. Please join for set up if you can.

Please register online so we know to expect you and get in touch if you can help, have questions, ideas, or contributions.
